Hope Restoration South Sudan (HRSS) has distributed dignity kits to 69 school-going adolescent girls in Bor town, Bor South County, Jonglei State. The distribution took place on 25-26 October 2026 under the Renewed Women Voice and Leadership Project, in partnership with CARE Canada.
Each girl received a kit containing reusable sanitary pads, three pairs of undergarments, bathing soap, washing detergent, a wrapper and a bag. The girls were registered and given guidance on using the items properly.
For many girls, managing their period safely and with dignity is a daily challenge, and it can affect their confidence and their time in the classroom. These kits help them stay in school, stay healthy and stay focused on their future.
